Yesterday, Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL) presented a cheque for $96,000 to the Belize Red Cross on behalf of the people of Guatemala for victims of the deadly eruption.
Rochus Schreiber, BTL’s Chief Executive Officer said, ” When a tragedy of this magnitude occurs, we must do our part as a company to help the families and communities affected by this deadly disaster. BTL also thanks the people of Belize and the Gap Institute who support this initiative.”
President of the Gap Institute, Maria Zabaneh said that the tremendous outpouring of kindness and expressions of love from Belizeans to our Guatemalan neighbors marks another proud moment in the history of Belize.
